Thank you for visiting. On any given day, the Humane Society of Rome has a great variety of beautiful cats and dogs. We try to get our animals listed in cyberspace as soon as they become available for adoption. Please select the type of animal you wish to search for. You may also browse through our entire listing of pets by going to PetFinder or one of the other pet adoption websites we are listed on. If you don't see a cat or dog that catches your interest today, please keep checking. We get in new animals almost daily. We will work with you to find the animal that is right for you and your lifestyle. All animals adopted from our shelter have been spayed or neutered. They have their first shots and rabies. In addition, every adopter gets a starter kit and a free training DVD (valued at $29) that is endorsed by the U.S. Humane Society. Best of all, you will get the love only a pet can bring you.
