I came to be Bucky's human on a Christmas Eve about 3 years ago. I had seen this scamp running around, and worried about him, as it was quite cold. I figured he might be a stray or drop off, as sadly this happened often in our trailer park. When I saw him take some suet from my bird feeder, I knew he wasn't being fed and I started putting food out for him.
On Christmas Eve, we had a terrible snowstorm. I looked out to see him huddled on my porch railing with about 3 " of snow on him. I carefully wrapped him in a towel, brought him in and held him till he was warm & dry. I told him that he would never ever again be cold or hungry. I figured he was a Christmas gift from God Himself.
Trouble is a rescue dog from a local shelter. We have had him for 4 years now. When we went to the shelter we were looking for a smaller type of dog. After looking at all the animals there we saw him sitting in the corner and as soon as he saw us he began to chase his tail. The people who had him before us were abusive to him. Long story short we took him home and he is the biggest baby. He cries when the kids leave for school, when people come to the house to visit he gets so happy he wets himself. I really do not know what we would do without him.
Hi, my name is Wednesday and I am 5 month old fluffy kitty. I love to snuggle on the couch and with my buddy, Newman (the dog) who was adopted from your shelter a few years ago. I was a stray, with my mom and brother, rescued on a cold Wednesday in December, hence the name. At night I love to give sweet kisses to my family while they are trying to sleep.
